Users will be able to use Paypal as a payment option for paid apps in the android market. This will please many who were reluctant to use the current method of google checkout. And this is particularly important for users in countries that can't utilize google checkout.

Users on T-mobile however have had the option to make market purchases via their bill.

There has also been talk of in-app purchases via paypal. This is something that can currently be integrated on the iPhone. Unfortunately as it stands now such in-app purchases are not allowed on the android market, so cross fingers on that one. The service is expected to be available in Q2 of this year. And will start off being available to a few countries including the United States, Australia, Canada, France, UK, Italy, and the Netherlands.
