Posted on 10/25/2010 by A.A.I

Starting earlier this year along side the release of 2.2 Froyo. Google began to release 'stand-alone' versions of several of their apps; gmail, search and maps for example. The purpose being to allow them to issue updates to these apps without having to wait for complete OS updates.    The latest app to this list is Youtube.

New to the app:  portrait or landscape viewing, channel info, like videos, and share via Buzz, Facebook, and Twitter. If you're running Android 2.2 head to the market to download this app.

It's getting to that time, head over to the facebook page. http://facebook.com/androidappinspection to get early access to our Year End Survey.

Scan with your 2.2 device to download.
