The mobile world is full of apps. That's the way the game is played now. And I don't think that's going to change anytime soon. And in fact the android market alone holds 80,000-100,000+ apps. And the android market has seen some upgrades in the latests versions but shifting through countless lists of apps is still very much apart of the experience. Which works, but there are alternatives.[...]
Little saddened about the delay of I.C.S. and the new Nexus device? Well screenshots and video have landed on the net since then. As you may or may not know Google and Samsung both dropped out of the CTIA event scheduled for Tuesday out of respect for the passing of Steve Jobs. A man many of those in connection with both Google and Samsung knew and worked with personally. And even though there is now some speculation that there may also be a patent dispute behind the delay. It makes sense to hold off a bit on any announcements and presentations. The event would have most likely involved the typical "our product is better and here's why" type of presentation. Something that is standard but may have not been in the best taste so soon.
All that aside there is still no solid date on when these announcements and launches will be made. Though sooner than later is an obvious statement. In the mean-time take a look at these images and videos of I.C.S. (Ice Cream Sandwich) goodness.
