Android 4.1.2 OTA update rolling out.

Jean-Baptiste Qeru, Google's chief release engineer; announced today that  Android 4.1.2 was being released to the Android Open Source Project.  The update is 31.3MB in size and includes bug fixes, performance and stability improvements as well as landscape mode in the launcher. 





So far the update is live and rolling out to Nexus 7 devices with signs that the Galaxy Nexus and Xoom will be next up to receive the update.  All of this is of particular interest due to increasing plausible rumors of a new Nexus device coming in late October. A device spotted running 4.1.2.
