For more than a year now developers and manufactures a like have been sending the message to android users. Flash is coming. As far back as march of last year Bsquare announced it's flash plugin for android devices. Not to mention we saw the demo of a G1 with flash running. It's been in the works for some time now. Google CEO Eric Schmidt had a bit to say on the future of android regarding Flash. It seems google and adobe are working together to bring flash to all android devices not simply those running the Sense UI. It was also stated that they are waiting for upgrades to existing software versions to support flash. There is still no release date but with 2.1 updates hitting more and more devices it's possible we'll finally see Flash 10.1 released this year.

Also adobe is working to make apps created in Adobe Air available for android. This means apps could be written once and then distributed on individual markets, blackberry, android or iphone. These apps could access the phone while utilizing web services. more at washingtonpost.com
