DoubleTwist adds WiFi Syncing

Posted on 11/30/2010 by A.A.I

We've been throwing praise at DoubleTwist for some time now. We featured it in Android Tip #1 - Market Alternatives  and did a write up when the DoubleTwist media player first hit the marker.  And that train isn't slowing down as of yet.  The media management service has brought forward their new wireless syncing option for Windows and Mac.  If you move fast AirSync is available in the Android market for $0.99 for the first 10,000 downloaders. And will be $4.99 after that.

If  that price mark has you at a stand still, take into account that AirSync will wirelessly sync not just music but photos and video as well.  To and from your android device. Also worth noting, during the short time that I've been playing around with this app I found that I could stream over wifi content as well. Offering a syncing solution that that is much simpler than other options.  The desktop program has seen several updates as well. Team this with the media player and you have what truly could be the ultimate replacement for iTunes.
